It is not financial, tax, legal or insurance advice, and it is not a prediction of what any agency will decide about your claim. Your situation may differ from the examples shown. No eligibility promises

We do not promise eligibility for any benefit and no page should be read as one. Figures on this site are current for 2026 and change annually. Amounts such as premiums, deductibles and income thresholds are set annually and can change. Verify any figure that affects a decision before you rely on it.

Past 55 is an independent publication and is not affiliated with SSA, CMS or any government agency. No government agency endorses this site or reviews its content.
